Utah Real Estate Agent Licensing Information
In order to help the people around you in buying and selling real estate for compensation, you need a license to do so. Obtaining a license is one of the first steps that must be completed before acting as a real estate agent in Utah.
The Utah Division of Real Estate is in charge of licensing Utah real estate professionals. The division has set standards that must be met in order to become a licensed real estate agent in Utah.
In order to get a Utah real estate license, potential licensees must do the following:
Meet qualifications regarding honesty, integrity, truthfulness, reputation, and competency.*
Complete 120 hours of Utah Real Estate Education at a certified Utah Real Estate School like Agent Professor.
Be at least 18 years old when applying for a license.
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
Pass the Utah Sales Agent Exam with a score of at least 70%.
Submit the licensing application, and required forms and fees to the Utah Division of Real Estate.
